for the last outing of 2012, tempting palates decided to go casual. the wassail wine bar is relatively new – it opened late august 2012. it’s located in prospect, a suburb located 5km north of adelaide. it’s in an old building (more rooms towards the back) with eclectic furniture, wine-glass chandeliers and interesting art work.
wassail prides itself on using south australian produce (tapas style menu) and showcasing south australian wine, beer and ciders. the food was simple, homely and you couldn’t fault the presentation.
the wassail wine bar is your place if you want simple affordable food in a relaxed no-fuss atmosphere.
